Aston Villa and England forward, Jack Grealish, has pleaded guilty to two charges of careless driving in connection with a crash during March’s coronavirus lockdown, six days after nationwide restrictions were imposed.
Grealish had denied two other charges of failing to stop and failing to report the incident, but the crown prosecution service offered no evidence and the charges were dismissed.
Sokratis Leaves Arsenal For Free As Club Agrees To Terminate Contract
Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has left the club after agreeing to terminate his contract with the club.
The 32-year-old defender has not made a premier league appearance since March last year and has not featured in a matchday squad in any competition in 2020-2021.
Sokratis is now free to speak to other clubs. Sevilla, Real Betis and Genoa have all shown interest.
He describes his time at arsenal as one of the best of his career.
Sokratis, whose deal had been due to expire at the end of the season, joined arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in July 2018.
He made 69 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners.

Mesut Ozil arrived in turkey to start his move to Fenerbahce.
The former German midfielder, of Turkish descent, hasn’t played for arsenal since march, after falling out of favor with manager, Mikel Arteta, over concerns about the player’s work rate.
After 7 years at arsenal, which he joined from Real Madrid, Ozil is heading to one of the favored clubs of turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Fenerbahce won the last of its 19 Turkish League titles in 2014. The team has not been in the Champions League group stage since a match-fixing scandal broke in 2011.
