Koeman Wants Hyderabad Fc Coach Albert Roca At Barcelona

Ronald Koeman has invited Hyderabad FC boss, Albert Roca, to join his coaching staff at Barcelona.

Roca previously worked at Barcelona with Dutch manager frank Rijkaard, between 2003 and 2008, but he currently works with Hyderabad.

Roca says he is waiting for more clarity before finalizing his decisions with Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s star Luis Suarez has been told he has no future with the team. New coach Ronald Koeman confirmed Suarez will be part of the team’s clear out after a trophy-less season doubled by the 8-2 defeat by Bayern Munich.

AFN Awaits WA Decision After Appeal Court Ruling

World Athletics is expected to rule on whether Ibrahim Gusau remains the president of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria.

On Friday, the court had dismissed an appeal filed by the ministry of youth and sports development.

The AFN had been in crisis after the wing of the federation led by Gusau declared autonomy from the sports ministry last December.

Another faction led by Gusau’s vice president, Olamide George, suspended him as president.

Frank de Boer Replaces Ronald Koeman As Netherlands Coach

Frank de Boer has been given a two-year contract as Netherlands head coach to replace Ronald Koeman.

Frank de Boer won 112 caps and played at two world cups for the Netherlands.

Barcelona Agree To Sell Striker Luis Suárez To Atlético Madrid

Barcelona have agreed to let striker Luis Suarez join La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.

The Uruguayan agreed terms on a reduced salary with atletico after a move to Juventus fell through because of passport issues.

Reports say Barcelona chairman Josep Maria Bartomeu blocked the deal because he did not wish to sell to a Spanish rival.

But, after meeting with Suarez’s representatives, the Catalan club backed down, with the striker threatening to air his grievances to the media.
