FIFA Ethics Committee Drops Infantino Case

World football governing body FIFA has reiterated that its president Gianni Infantino will continue as president.

FIFA says it is not moved by the Swiss probe because is it not necessary.

Special prosecutor Stefan Keller started proceedings on Thursday as part of an investigation into suspected collusion between Infantino and Switzerland’s attorney general Michael Lauber.

Frank de Boer has been given a two-year contract as Netherlands head coach to replace Ronald Koeman.

Frank de Boer won 112 caps and played at two world cups for the Netherlands.

Barcelona Agree To Sell Striker Luis Suárez To Atlético Madrid

Barcelona have agreed to let striker Luis Suarez join La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.

The Uruguayan agreed terms on a reduced salary with atletico after a move to Juventus fell through because of passport issues.

Reports say Barcelona chairman Josep Maria Bartomeu blocked the deal because he did not wish to sell to a Spanish rival.
