Gernot Rohr Strives To Meet NFF’s Condition Over Contract Renewal

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr would love to see his contract renewed by the Nigeria Football Federation when it expires in June next year and the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has issued fresh conditions for that extension to happen.

NFF president, Amaju Pinnick says most crucial among the conditions is that the eagles’ coach would be expected to monitor domestic games and be domiciled in Nigeria.

Minister of youths and sports, Sunday Dare, has also advised Rohr to adhere to NFF’s conditions.

IPL Cricket Set To Kick Off In UAE Amid India COVID-19 Crisis

Indian premier league starts on Saturday, but the twenty20 tournament is expected to be a welcome relief to cricket fans during the coronavirus pandemic.

The short-form extravaganza normally starts in March but, along with other major international sporting events, was postponed as countries went into virus lockdowns.

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has been handed a two-match ban following his dismissal against Olympique Marseille last weekend.

Neymar was expelled from the match for slapping the I’OM defender on the back of the head.

European cup former winners, Benfica, crashed out of the 2020/2021 UEFA champions league third qualifying round on Tuesday.

Serbia winger, Andrija Zivkovic, scored against his former club Benfica a week after leaving them.
