Peter Crouch Apologizes To Mikel 13 Years After Rash Tackle 

Liverpool former forward, Peter Crouch, has apologized to Mikel Obi over a thirteen-year-old altercation between the pair.

Crouch admitted that his horrendous tackle on Mikel in 2007 in the semi-final of the Carling Cup, now known as Carabao Cup, was the worst that he ever made in his career.

The former England international accused Mikel of diving and provoking the tackle after the game.

Danish Cup Final Suspended After Fans Fail To Socially Distance

The Danish Cup final was suspended for 14 minutes as a group of ultras ignored social distancing rules.

Aalborg and Sonderjyske were both given 725 tickets each for fans at the final at the neutral Esbjerg stadium, so long as they sat one metres apart.

Aalborg lost 2-nil to Sonderjyske with Anders Jacobsen scoring twice against his old club.

It is the first major trophy in Sonderjyske’s history.

Africa Cup Of Nations Postponed Until 2022

Executive committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has postponed the next edition of Africa Cup of Nations to 2022 to which Cameroon retains hosting rights.

With the 2019-2020 season for the champions league and confederation cup already at the semi-final stage, CAF has announced Cameroon and Morocco will respectively host the semi-final and final of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
