Court Orders Saraki's Ilorin Houses Forfeited To FG

The same federal high court in Lagos has ordered the forfeiture of two houses belonging to former senate president, Bukola Saraki in a case filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

But Saraki disputes the order, saying the forfeiture order is an abuse of court process and violation of a subsisting order of the federal high court in Abuja.  Saraki’s special adviser on media and publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu has released a statement alleging that the claim was false that the properties were built with the proceeds of fraud.
